The National Press Club and coalition partners are teaming up with leading restaurants to raise  awareness about the case of Austin Tice, the only American journalist currently being held overseas. Austin, who was a George Polk Award honoree and National Press Club Press Freedom Honoree, worked for McClatchy, The Washington Post and CBS. In April 2018 the FBI announced a $1 million reward for information leading to Austin’s safe return. Funds raised at NIGHT OUT FOR AUSTIN TICE will add to that reward.

On May 2, grab all your friends and go to dinner at a participating restaurant. These restaurants have pledged to contribute a percentage of their proceeds from May 2 to the reward fund! Now is the time to act – everyone can help!
